Whitehouse Post Editor Trish Fuller Rocks the Vote with All-Star Cast

Rapper Lil Jon puts a spin on his hit song “Turn Down for What” in the latest PSA for Rock the Vote. “Turn Out for What,” cut by Whitehouse Post’s Trish Fuller, is a star-studded short film featuring celeb cameos including Whoopi Goldberg, Fred Armisen, Lena Dunham, Natasha Lyonne, and Sophia Bush, who share the belief that we should all “turn out” for something.
Directed by Brody Baker and produced by 1985, the film is a frenetic montage emulating the energy of Lil Jon’s “Turn Down for What” music video spliced with celebs dancing and declaring the reasons they showed up to the polls. Student loans, the legalization of marijuana, the environment, and gay rights are all causes featured as Fuller’s fast-paced, well-timed cuts pulse with an energetic call to action.
