When most of us hear 'Caribbean,' we picture couples on white sand beaches or at all-inclusive resorts, rum cocktails in-hand. But in their newest campaign, 'A Curious Place,' creative agency Olson and the BTB set out to position this fun, adventurous country as exactly that — a place you'll leave with stories to tell. The spots highlight the character (and characters) of the strange but wonderful country — from Coconut Leo to Mayan cacao farmer Eladio Pop — all narrated by a real-life Belizean tour guide.
While this is not the first campaign Olson and the BTB have done together — their past work led to a 2.24% increase in the country's GDP — this is the first campaign to launch under the agency's new leadership team, led by CCO Kevin McKeon.
